Mantash Waterfall is a popular place for people who enjoy walking in the mountains and spending time in nature. It is located in Shirak Province, on the slopes of Mount Aragats – the highest mountain in Armenia. The water comes from a small mountain stream that flows into the Mantash River and falls from a height of 21 metres. The waterfall is a protected natural site in Armenia.
The walk begins at Lake Kari, a beautiful mountain lake located 3,200 metres above sea level, near the southern top of Mount Aragats. From the lake, we follow a simple path across the mountain slopes towards the waterfall. During the walk, you will enjoy the fresh air and open views. When we reach the waterfall, we will stop to rest, take photos, and enjoy the cold water of the Mantash River. After the break, we finish the tour at Lake Kari.
This hiking tour is easy and perfect for beginners.
