Okonavank
Okonavank is located in the village of Yenokavan of Tavush Province, Armenia. This quiet monastery is a hidden cultural and historical treasure. It invites visitors to go back in time and learn about its rich past. It is a special place with old buildings, calm nature, and a look into Armenia’s history.
The Okonavank Monastery complex, built in the 12th–13th centuries, shows the architectural skill of that time. It includes the main church, chapels, and other small buildings, all made with great care and detail. The stone walls seem to tell stories from many years ago.
