Ornithological tourism is bird watching or “birding”, one of the areas of eco-tourism, aimed at exploring little-known corners of nature. In this regard, Armenia is a real find for an amateur or professional ornithologist. Few states can match the diversity of birds with Armenia. On a small piece of land, more than 350 species of birds are recorded, many of which are rare or endangered.

The tour operator "ExploreArmenia" offers an individual and group tour for bird watchers and nature lovers - birds watching in Armenia for 11 days / 10 nights. During the ornithological excursion you will visit both forest tracts and alpine meadows, with their colorful diversity of fauna, walk through the dry steppe highlands and admire the wetland wildlife of Armenia, study the behavior of birds, in a word, “hunt” birds for their habitat with binoculars, a telescope or a camera. If desired, bird watching can be combined with a visit to the historical sites of Armenia.

Bird watching in Armenia does not require special physical training. Watch the wildlife with us!
