Numbeo ranks Armenia 7th safest country in the world
Numbeo's latest Crime Index by Country for 2023 has ranked Armenia seventh safest country out of 142 countries in the world. Qatar has been ranked the safest country in the world. This is the fifth year in a row that Qatar has claimed the top spot, marking a continuation of the distinctive position enjoyed by the country globally in terms of safety.
Following Qatar as the safest country are the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Isle Of Man, Oman and Hong Kong (China). Armenia is followed by Japan, Switzerland and Bahrain.
Venezuela remains the least safe country in the world. Papua New Guinea, Afghanistan, South Africa, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Syria, Somalia and Jamaica are the top 10 least safe countries.
