Khurjin Cooking Masterclass
Khurjin (խուրջին) is an Armenian dish with a very special flavour. The word khurjin originally means an Eastern pouch or saddlebag, but in Armenia it has also become the name of a delicious traditional meal.
It is prepared with stewed meat and vegetables, wrapped in a pouch of lavash bread and tied with a strip of lavash. The pouch is then baked in a traditional tonir oven or in a regular oven.
The Khurjin cooking masterclass is a great way to discover more about Armenian cuisine and about the rich variety of vegetables and herbs that grow on Armenia’s fertile land.
During the class, skilled chefs will teach you how to cook Khurjin and how to serve it beautifully.
