Day 1 - Airport - City Tour in Yerevan

A little rest
The tour starts with a walking trip through the city. Architecture of capital is original and distinctive. Today, Yerevan is a city where there are a variety of architectural styles, with green alleys, numerous fountains. You will be able to see the sights in Yerevan: the square of France, the Opera and Ballet House, Northern Avenue, the Republic Square.
We shall then proceed to the Grand Cascade (open-air museum). It is a 500-meter high staircase (522 steps) with fountains and flower beds, as well as an open air museum, which presents about 30 sculptures by famous masters. Inside the complex Cafesjian Center of Arts is located on 5 tiers.
Day 2 - Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Matenadaran - temple of Garni - Geghard monastery - Yerevan

After breakfast we visit the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts - Matenadaran named after St. Mesrop Mashtots. The most ancient manuscripts are dated back to the 5th century AD and are associated with Mesrop Mashtots, who invented the Armenian alphabet.
Next is the pagan temple of Garni. Garni Temple built in the 1st century by the Armenian King Tiridates I and dedicated to the God of the Sun Areg (Mihr). The temple is at the edge of a triangular cliff, which overlooks the ravine of the Azat River and the Gegham mountains.
Next stop is Geghard monastery complex (IV century), which is included in the list of World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO. Its full name is Geghardavank, literally it is translated as "Monastery of the spear". The name of the monastery complex comes from Christ Spear (Spear of Longinus), which the Roman soldier Longinus thrust in Jesus Christ. The spear is now kept in the treasury of Echmiadzin Cathedral.
Back to Yerevan
Day 3 - Yerevan - St. Hripsime Church - St. Ecmiadzin - Zvartnots temple - Yerevan - Tsitsernakaberd

After breakfast, we visit the St. Ecmiadzin - the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, where the residence of the Catholicos is located. We will visit Echmiadzin Cathedral (301-483 AD), which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
We visit the ruins of Zvartnots temple, which was destroyed in the earthquake. In 2000, the ruins of the temple and the archaeological area around it are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Back to Yerevan
We will visit the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915, and the Genocide Museum.
Day 4 - Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Cave of the birds - Noravank - Sevan

This day trip begins with a visit to the monastery of Khor Virap - one of the symbols of Armenia. The Monastery is a fortress located just 40 kilometers far from Yerevan, and less than a kilometer from the republic's border with Turkey. Khor Virap is a place of pilgrimage, which is associated with the legend of Gregory the Illuminator (Grigor the Illuminator). According to church tradition, Gregory was imprisoned on the order of King Trdat III for preaching Christianity, and spent there 13 years. Those interested can go down to the prison, which has a depth of 6 m and a diameter of 4.4 m. Right in front of you, very, very close and in all its beauty you will see the symbol of Armenia - Mount Ararat.
Then we continue our way to the village of Areni in Vayots Dzor region of Armenia. We visit the "Cave of the birds", where the oldest winery in the world and the world's oldest shoe, which was more than 5500 years old, were found. Village of Areni is famous for its wines till now. Every year in October the annual festival of wines takes place there.
We will visit "Areni" wine factory and taste Armenian wine in the tasting room of the factory. The wines of this producer differ in their unique tastes. The bouquet of the fragrance is revealed gradually leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
Then we continue the journey to the Tatev monastery (IX-XIII centuries), which is located on the edge of a gigantic canyon. Tatev was one of the most famous spiritual and educational centers of the Middle Ages. The complex can be called one of the most noteworthy places on earth. The ropeway "Wings of Tatev" (the longest ropeway in the world - 5752 m, ranked in the Guinness Book of Records) will carry us over the beautiful Vorotan gorge directly to Tatev monastery.

Day 5 - Lake Sevan - Dilijan - Haghartsin - Goshavank - Tbilisi

After breakfast we will visit the Sevanavanq - a monastery in the north-west coast of Lake Sevan. The monastery is located on a peninsula, which was once a small island.
We continue our tour to Tavush region of Armenia – to a small town of Dilijan, located on the picturesque banks of the river Aghstev.
The next stop will be Haghartsin Monastery, which was built in the X-XIII centuries, mostly under the auspices of the Bagratuni Dynasty. We will also visit Goshavank - monastery complex, built in XII-XIII centuries in the village of Gosh in Armenia. Goshavank is the cultural, educational and religious center of medieval Armenia. The sources referred to it as a seminary, university, and so on.

Day 6 - Tbilisi city tour - Mtskheta - Svetitskhoveli - Jvari - Tbilisi

Starting Tbilisi city tour. Tbilisi is the capital and largest city of Georgia, located on the banks of the Kura River with a population of about 1.5 million. The city was founded in the 5th century. Walking through narrows old Tbilisi streets, visit the fortress Narikala complex IV century in Old Tbilisi, the Metekhi temple with panoramic views of the old city; The Sioni Cathedral is the main temple of Tbilisi; The Anchiskhati church is the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi; let’s see the Meidan Square, Shardeni Street, Freedom Square, Shota Rustaveli Avenue.
Than we will move to Mtskheta. This city was the first capital of Georgia (3rd century BC to 5th century AD). We will start the excursion with a visit to the 11th century cathedral - Svetitskhoveli, which has been the main cathedral of Georgia for many centuries.

Stop on the top of mountain, at confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari, where is one of magnificent Georgian architecture monument – Jvari Monastery (translated as a cross)
Way back to Tbilisi.
Day 7 - Tbilisi – Ananuri fortress - People's Friendship Arch - Trinity Church (Gergeti)

Trip along the Georgian military road to Holy Trinity Church. During the excursion we will visit:
Majestic ancient fortress of Ananuri. The fortress lost its strategic importance, and the castle came to desolation.
Zhinvali water reservoir – a gigantic water mirror opens up in which the heavens are reflected. Man-made lake is beautiful in any season of the year
Georgian military road or road, better known from ancient times as the Darial Pass. It connects two cities - Vladikavkaz and Tbilisi, and three countries - Russia, Georgia and Armenia. This is a magical road full of many attractions and surrounded by colorful nature.
People's Friendship Arch is a monument symbolizing friendly relations between Russians and Georgians.
Trinity Church (Gergeti Church) - is of particular interest to both historians and tourists. The church seems to soar high in the clouds surrounded by a ring of mountains. An interesting fact from the history of the church is that the church is actually two-story.

Day 8 - Tbilisi – moving to Batumi – Batumi city tour

City tour around Adjara. Batumi is a pearl by the sea; it attracts tourists and travelers, giving in return warmth and hospitality. We will visit Piazza Square, Europe Square, Boulevard, Miracle Park and many interesting place.

Trip to mountainous Adjara
Museum Borjgalo – you will hear history from the first source. Visually tells about the life of the inhabitants of the Adjara. In ordinary wooden houses, wax figures dressed in national clothes, show the life and traditions of the Georgian craft. Here you can see carpenters, woodworkers, winemakers, weavers, masons, milkmaids, houses in which live the villagers, as well as a huge number of various exhibits
Arched Bridge – overstretched on unpredictable mountain river Adjaristskali, the bridge of Queen Tamara is raising. The bridge is founded in 12 century AD and delivers to us it’s sad history
Waterfall Makhuntseti – 20 m high pearl of Adjara, slips from top of mountains on large stone bowl. It is hard to force your eyes away of unforgettable view
Visiting wine cellar, you will find out more about traditional methods of wine making.
