Day 1


Airport - Yerevan City Tour

Transfer and check in to hotel

The tour will begin with a walking tour of the city. The architecture of Yerevan is original. Today Yerevan is a city in which there are various architectural styles, with green alleys, numerous fountains. You will get acquainted with the sights of Yerevan: the Grand Cascade (open-air museum), the Square of France, the Opera and Ballet Theater, North Avenue, the Square of the Republic.

If you wish, you can visit the Botanical Garden where you can find an interesting collection of birds.
 
 

Day 2


Yerevan - Dilijan - Gosh village - Parz Lake
 

Early departure.

Watching a (Caucasian) black grouse. Journey through forests, observation of forest and steppe fauna. If desired, visit the unique monastery complex Goshavank.

Transfer to Lake Parz

The continuation of the observation. Target species: flycatcher, nuthatch, black woodpecker, seamstress and other species of the range.

Day 3


Dilijan - village Norashen - village Lichk (Litk) - village Arates
 

Transfer to Lake Sevan

Visit to Chaek Island, where a colony of endemic Armenians gull nests.

Along the shore of the lake transfer to the village Lichk (Litk). Observation of the region’s wetland fauna. Target species: various species of herons, cormorants and ducks, curled, nightingale, wagtail, etc.

Goris - Nagorny Karabakh (Artsakh) - Megri

Observation of forest, steppe and wetland fauna. Target species: turach, pheasant, several species of marsh predators, white-tailed eagle, Tuvic, steppe meadow and marsh harrier, colonies of Spanish sparrows, curly pink pelican and others.

City of Megri - Shikaokhsky Nature Reserve - City of Kapan

Observation of forest and steppe fauna. Target species: green warbler, stone thrush, species of woodpeckers, Mediterranean tit, Syrian woodpecker, black bunting and others.
